ClickConvert ("we", "us", "our") provides AI lead bot and CRM software for service businesses. This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

When you contact us through this website (clickconvert.ca):

• Your name, business name, phone number, and email address
• Your industry, city, and the message you send us
• Basic technical information (IP address, browser type)

When you use our CRM products on your own website:

• Conversation data from your customers (only the customers who chat with the bot — we don't track your other visitors)
• Customer information you enter or import into the CRM
• Usage data (which features you use) to improve the product

2. How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and tell you about our product
• To provide the CRM service you signed up for
• To send service-related emails (account updates, billing, support)
• If you opt in: to send occasional product updates and marketing emails

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We do not use it for any purpose other than running your CRM and our business.

3. Where it's stored

Your data is stored on servers in Canada (hosted by Hostinger's Canadian region). Your data does not leave Canada unless you specifically integrate with a third-party service (like Google Calendar) that does.

4. CASL compliance

Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation requires that we have consent before sending you commercial messages. We obtain that consent when you submit our contact form (implied consent for follow-up about your inquiry) and explicitly track marketing consent for any campaign emails.

Every commercial email we send includes our business name, a real mailing address, and a working unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe any time and we honor every request within 10 business days (usually instantly).

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies — just what's needed to keep you logged in if you have a customer account. No tracking cookies. No third-party advertising cookies. No analytics that share your data outside Canada.

6. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we have about you
• Correct any inaccuracies
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Request deletion of your data (with some legal limits — we keep CASL consent records as proof of compliance)
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

7. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS for all traffic, hashed passwords, regular backups). No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and we'll notify affected users promptly if a breach occurs.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and email customers if the changes affect them.
